Ms. McKell, a former student with the Harrisburg Dance Conservatory, began her formal training at the age of eight under the tutelage of Founder, Forrest Gehret. While at the Conservatory, Ms. McKell performed with Harrisburg Dance Ensemble and the Harrisburg Ballet. She has performed in productions such as Firebird, Romeo and Juliet, Coppelia, Carmen, and Nutcracker. Upon graduating EastPennsboroAreaHigh School in 1997, Ms.McKell attended BrighamYoungUniversity majoring in Humanities with a minor in Biology. Ms. McKell returned to the Conservatory as a faculty member in September of 2001. In 2008 she was instrumental in the founding of Harrisburg Ballet Theatre.
